edimax router problem.......??

I am not sue if this forum can help but here goes..

I live in the uk and have a cable broadband connection and have just purchased an edimax router, my problem is that when i tried to tell the router the ip of the modem there was nowhere to set this info...has anyone had the same problem and can anyone help me....

Stevekeating: I don't know about edimax , But you should be able to open up your browser . clear the web address and type in http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 the address you need is in the user guide . If you done that and it will not come up, you may need to reboot your computer and unplug your cable modem and let the modem reset then try it
