Hiding desktop icons

Is there any way to hide them in w2k?

Try this, Right click on your desktop, goto active desktop and select show web content. Right click the desktop again go to active desktop and the uncheck "Show Desktop Icons". After that you can go to your toolbar and right click in a blank spot and select toolbars and check desktop. Also if you right click on the text you can get rid of the toolbar title and icon text by unchecking them in the list. If you move your mouse pointer over the icon the disciption will come up regardless.
