Runs a LOT faster then IE6......:D or at least it does on Win2k pro SP2.

a friend of mine installed the sp1 beta and know he can't use windows update. anyone know of a fix for this.

no it didn't work. he is runnin xp home edition... wait a minute ...he said all that comes up is a box that asks for a user name and password.

he said he is just going to live with it till the official version comes out. thanks for the help.

From what I can recall, MIE beta releases won't allow you to access the Windows updates site. I'm also waiting for the official 6.0 SP1 release.

http://catchup.cnet.com is already tops on my list for grabbing new updates. I've even got a link to it posted on the bottom of my website main page(http://9337387.home.icq.com/index.html). Thanks for mentioning it though. Hopefully, it'll encourage others to make use of it. :D
