Win98se headache

I reformated and installed win98se clean install and evrytime i start-up the pc the "my computer" window keeps opening up. I close out of it and do my work but evrytime i reboot or start-up the pc the dang window keeps opening up. How do u keep it from opening up at start up? :confused:

Windows will remember the last window opened apon boot. Close all the windows before shutting down. Make sure you don't have any on the task bar when shutting down.

I've already done that and it still opens upon restart , cold start or reboot.
