I have to write a 4 page report and i am using Word to write it. Does anyone know how to add the little numbers at the end of sentences or paragraphs to give credit to resources that i have used? They will point to references in my bibliography.

should just be insert>footnote. you get a couple options from there. This is in Word 2000 btw
