Hi, I have recently upgrade my Linksys 4 port to firmware 1.42.6
have some question:
1. is that true I don't need to set up any uPnP setting for icq and Netmeeting to work? All I need is to have uPnP setup on my XP?
2. Now, the Linksys setup has Port Forwarding page as well as uPnP port forwarding. What is the difference? It put services like Http, FTP on uPnP Forwarding, but is that true I can also put them in port forwarding? What is the difference putting in either place?
3. In the manual, it mentioned that to make Port Forwarding, it DHCP must be disabled to avoid dymanic Ip assignment. But if i just want to forward a port to one of my machine, which I set up the IP manually, isn't that I can still use DHCP for my other machine? Why they say it must be disabled?
