Greetings everyone,
Discovered this over the last couple of days and thought I would pass it on.
For those of you using Windows XP and Outlook Express and notice that Outlook is acting sluggish, the cause could be the Windows Messenger program installed with XP. I had previously set the messenger program not to run, but that didn`t help.
By removing the messenger program, my Outlook Express has greatly improved.
Here is the kicker, the good old boys at Microsoft did not include the messenger in the add/remove program section so you will have to use a third party uninstaller. I used Cleansweep and it worked well.
Just a little FYI..............
