What the hell does all this **** mean, and what is optimal?

What is best... 10 or 100 and full or half duplex.

Im sure no one wants to go over this with me, so if theres a guide out there that will tell me how to tweak it, link me up.

The defaults settings should work fine. I suggest leaving as is.

A 10/100 NIC is capable of both 10mbps and 100mbps. A 10/100 full-duplex NIC is cable of both 20mbps (10 in each direction) and 200mbps (100 in each direction).

If this NIC is attached to a cable modem, leave at half-duplex and 10mbps. Otherwise, you may experience connection problems.

It will be going to a 4 port router with a 10/100 switch as soon as I get broadband hooked up.
