Counter Strike Question

I had been playing half life for quite a while. I got used to the "kill the red guy" or "kill the blue guy". I just got counter strike and I am quite confused. There is no colors. I am getting killed left and right because I dont know who to shoot. I guess I just need some help or advice. Oh, and do I have to purchase a weapon at the start of every game? Thanks for any input.:confused:

Yes you have to buy a weapon and upgrade your armor and buy ammo. Soon enough you will be able to recognize terrorist and counter skins.

The default Buy button is "B"

if u are terrorist.. shoot the black colored people... if u are coutner terrorist... shoot the people with colors..

These days too many n00bs use it, just 2 days ago my friend started a server for me and other friend's to play on. Then 5 min after the server is up some ogc n00b poppes on in, I finally got him to admit he was using ogc, it was good for a laugh. That's exactly why I almost never play cs anymore. There's too many 12 year old skill-less players that need cheats just to have a decent score.

Thanks everyone for your input. I am getting better at this game. It would be nice to find a place to play that is fun and clean and without cheats.

because usally there is not an admin on for about 5 percent of the time that the servers up. So if its something one of the anti-cheats wont detect and ban then the cheaters are able to play tilll one of the admins are in.

i know i know we have no life....

also known as the awm. It's that sniper rifle that's f*king loud, takes no skill to operate. It's crappy when your sent to free-look mode because of one shot. I personally like owning someone with a scout.
