is there any other way to play mohaa online except via gamespy, but if gamespy is the only way, then is there a way to get playing without having to pay their registration fee?

You dont have to pay to play on Gamespy. Just dont register.

top of screen it will say Gamespy Arcade 1.09 (unregistered)

You can also create your own private game just for your friends too. There's an option when you set up your game, "let gamespy see your game'...something like that..just turn that off.

Screw Gamespy, I like using the All Seeing Eye. It's just a game searching tool. You have to pay for the "priveledged" version, but the unregistered version is working great for me. Just type in All Seeing Eye in a search engine and you'll find it.

Why don't you use the built in server in MOH?

You might want to try Game spy 3d version.
