hehehe...thought so...I'm on a strict 1 gig upload/month from my ISP and I'm running a p2p program and I wanna lower my speed enough for ppl not to want to do download from me...thanx for da assistance! :D ;) :D
Doesn't the P2P program have an option to do so? If not, there isn't any practical way that I know of to throttle upstream.
Just curious, if you don't want people to download from you, why share files and allow them to download them in the first place?

the prob is that I need to share a certain amount of gigs to be allowed to join some download places...:(

I know winmx does have a throttling mechanism to it...not sure about the other p2p programs tho...
