I have bellsouth ADSL, with ethernet modem (someone told me USB DSL modem was slower).

Firsth week, I used IE6 and everything was fine, second week was ok, it was a bit slow, but ok. This week, IE6 is slow. It won't load any pages, and even if it did, it would be partial. the little connecion icon at the bottom right shows no activity. However, if I use Netscape6 or netscape 4, the thing will browse, but I have tons of favorites in IE, and when netscape imports them, they don't work, I don't know why. And I like the classic IE look, the browser loads faster when I hit the quick launch icon.

Someone help me.

Assuming this is a PPPoE DSL connection, see stalls & freezes: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/faq/all#156

Just so you know, USB isn't exactly slower, just more problematic.

It still "stalls" while netscape is slowing down a bit for some odd reason

BTW, NS 6.2 also has a quick launch feature, but I don't know if it is any faster than IE's.

I'm a n00b so, I don't know what NIC means, but I'm using ethernet modem

Since you have an ethernet modem, you're either using a NIC or a USB network adapter.

Yeah, I'm using NIC then.
