View Full Version : Web page program
Can anyone point me to a good program that will write the HTML or whatever is needed to build a web page? One that is simple and yet does it all?
Uhmmm...well..no program truly does it ALL. But, FrontPage (Microsoft) does a lot for you and so does Macromedia DreamWeaver. Dreamweaver is expensive though as it has a lot of features none other have. Are you using MAC or PC?
Cool page does it all!

I made this site mostly with Cool Page:

A true WYSIWYG editor. Most all others are not WYSIWYG.

Cool Page is cool. I know because I did a beta test for the pro version of it, and it does work!
It's just that I'm not a fan of WYSIWYG, but if that's your cheesecake, then jump on it!
Thanks for the replies. I will give them a try. By the way, I am using a dell PC.
Well, if you have WIN98SE, Front page express comes with it and is FREE. :)
Arachnophilia is good too. http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/

Cool Page is great, but the ONLY thing I don't like about it is the fact that you can not view the html code.
TonyT, you work with Cool Page a lot, do you know if any new updates are planned and if so, what they are?
I purchased the Pro version a year or so ago, but still don't have a website :p , maybe someday.

Preview the page in browser, then view the source code.
You can use Export from the File Menu to output HTML files and edit them in Notepad or other editor if needed.
