to my status if I format?

I'm going to format soon and realize I should wait till I complete a work unit. Just wondering if there is anything I need to know or consider about folding before I do the format other than the work I don't want to loose.

thats it, u just redownload the program and type in ur same user name and team number

I just recently formatted. I copied my genome, folding, and seti folders to my backup drive. After the format I reinstalled the proggies and then replaced the folders in program files with the backups I made. I did not lose any work.
