grrr. Small Problem W2k Password

Not sure what's up on one of my comps apparently I changed the password to something else by accident when I renewed it (misspelled most likely)

W2k SP2
Guest account is disabled..
is there anything I can do to remedy this problem?

hrrmmm....

First question is do you have a FAT file system or NTFS if it's FAT it will be no problem to get back in. If it's NTFS then there will be quite a few steps. Either way I'm sure I can get you back in. If you really want to take the time you could just reinstall, but I don't know what kind of accounts and policies you have stated on your system.

damn password expire BS

Bootup with a dos disk

c:\
cd winnt\system32\config
del sam.*

restart and defaults will be reset.
