Hi,
Right now, the 2.x client is looking very stable and I'd like to
really encourage you all to move to it. Right now, we have about 1000
people running 1.x, vs nearly 30,000 running 2.x.
We'll keep 1.x around a bit longer, but all of our efforts are
squarely with 2.x. Moreover, 1.x is a bit restrictive in terms of the
science we can do with it (largely the reason for us making a whole
new infrastructure) and so your CPU time would go a lot farther for us
with 2.x.
Finally, there is a ton of spam on this Yahoo page. Let's continue
all discussions, including 1.x related topics, on the 2.x Yahoo pages.
So, please check it out!

Thanks,
Vijay
