XP network w/ OS98

Before I had my two pc's with OS 98 network with Linksys cable router . No problems sharing files from the two pc's thru local lan netbui.
Today I install win XP only in one pc, I can can see the pc with OS 98 on the local network.
I left the settings alone on the pc with OS 98. The pc with win XP I went thru process intalling network but the settings are total diferrent like is no netbui protocol , or maybe because I'm not familiar yet with XP

Can someone shad some light how to network XP with OS 98
