View Full Version : Win 2K / 98SE Networking help!

Hello Everyone,

After scanning this forum for a bit, I must say that the info & help presented are first rate!

I have a newly constructed Win 2K machine networked to a 98SE machine that has web access via DSL.

I am able to share files from one to the other but am unable to access the internet from the 2K machine thru the 98SE machine.

If someone could detail how to do this or point me to a page that can I would be most appriciative.

Great info there but it doesn't address using a 98SE machine as the server and the 2K machine as the client...

why not run the 2000 machine as the DSL router instead...

I agree, makes for a better gateway if you have a choice of the two.
