Hello Zmoney,
You now need to install php on your server and run through the installation procedures with php nuke. Look for a file in php nuke called installation.php or setup.php, etc. etc. and call that file through your web browser such as http://myserver.com/phpnuke/setup.php make sure the file is chmod'ed correctly or this wont work and you will get parse errors.
My recomendation however, don't use php-nuke there are so many freakin nuke sites it's getting ridiculous and in terms of security nuke is very insecure. A vuln was posted to bugtraq a while back that aollowed admin priv's on the site and many defacements came thereafter.
My advice: goto hotscripts.com look under portal and configure it to your needs, or learn the coding and design yourself.
Themes refers to the site being skinnable, meaning users can choose from different themes you up to the server.

Have fun ;)
