I have comcast HSI, and a motorola sb3100 modem. My question is this. When I am not browsing and sitting idle at my desktop, my activity light on the modem flashes like I'm downloading, and my hard drive light blinks simultaneously also .. it really concerns me of the activity.
I havent seen this with my @home service(same modem) also, i have webscan turned off on my antivirus, and My Blackice firewall is showing an awful lot of http port probing. Is it something I should be addressing, or should i not concern myself with it?
Unfortunately I installed the comcast software before I found this site. any way to get rid of it? can i delete it all and reinstall IE6?
I really don't want to re-format my drive.
