Can't hear or see in netmeeting.

I do video conferencing with my friend Jonathan with Windows NetMeeting 3.01. For some reason I can hear him and he can't hear me, he can see my video just fine have not had a problem with that.

I have made sure my mic's settings were set right, and as far as I know they are, I can hear myself through my speakers no problem.

He has the same version of the software, I can hear him I just can't see him, he has a webcam also.

What kind of sound card do you have?

Look for a setting in options that says "automatically send video" and "automatically receive video".

Check them and you should be fine. Netmeeting's default it to auto receive, but it wont send. If both of y'all are receiving and not sending...

You could also check out the sockets that the mic and speakers plug to.
On my system, the plug sockets are u/s because the plugs have been in & out so many times. New sound card will fix it when I get around to it.
