Gtreetings all:
Well, for those of you who read my posts re: Comcast.NET dropping me after 2 minutes or so, they appear to have fixed the problem.
I feel it only fair to post that they were as good as their word on this. After a bit over a week of back & forth with the Level 1 and Level 2 tech support folks, I was told Wed. night that there was nothing more they could do for me at that level. They turned my problem over to something called the Escalation Team, and told me they would fix it in 24 - 48 hours.
They did. Starting yesterday the Comcast connection was there instantly and hasn't dropped yet. I don't know what they did, but as I said above - give vredit where it is due.
So if you are having problems, give them a fair chance and then try to get assigned to the E-Team. Whoever they are, I'll buy them a beer.
