Well it seems I have a choice in broadband now so I wanted to get some opinions. I have DSL 1500/384---I see those speeds never (a long story). Comwavz offers high speed wireless now in my town and here is the dirt on them. 1-5 Mbit up and down for seventy bucks a month with $100 for install. Which should I choose keep DSL or go wireless.
I guess the service runs @ 2.4 Ghz and I'm sure latency will be high but I wondered if anyone has had wireless and how it is.
Also wondered do I loose the connection in a storm like satelite?

Just talked to someone today using Comwavz sounds like I'll be getting about 2500 down 1500 up and ping times are better than DSL in this area, so I got em coming out to survey my house and make sure I can get a clean signal. Assuming I get it I will post back with a speed test and ping times in case anyone is curious. Also if I get it will need to post in the tweaking forum to get an rwin.
Will let ya'll know!:D
2500/1500 willl be awesome for hosting games and maybe my Direct Connect Hub.;)
My cousin Has wireless and it is insane the speeds he gets! But if you are a gamer forget it it sux... Only good for browsing, and such
