Had cable modem for several years nor first @home now adelphia. THought it was the cable supplier that was the problem ( slow speed) till I found the tweaks on here. WOW what a difference. I know it is just a htlm speed test ( www.toast.net ) but i am seeing speeds now of over 3,000 Kbs. Freaking incredible....its a joy to use the pc once again , even during high internet traffic times............

If anyone knows where i can test a true download speed please let me know
