Another question: I downloaded the console version I believe it was, so it runs in DOS. If I have to shut down how do I exit the program?

Thanks

Couple questions about this. Used ctrl C cause my son wanted to go on, separate desktop. Thought I'd try to reopen it and it won't run now?? The other is I don't think it signed me up for the team. I'm lost on what to do.

Thanks

Hey Suzie welcome to the team!

Don't worry about your name not showing up on the list right now. It can take a few days for your name to show up depending on how fast your system completes work units. I have systems that can complete a work unit in a few hours and others that take almost 2 days.

As for your client not running what does the command box say when you try to load it up again?

You can reconfigure it by runnning this from a DOS Prompt:

FAH2Console.exe -config

Okay, need some help with that. Not very good with DOS and not sure how to do so. Sorry to be a pain but could you explain it a little more for me?

Thanks:)

Sure, start up the command prompt (Start->Program Files->Command Prompt

Navigate to the directory that you put the F@H client in.

then type: FAH2Console.exe -config

If you need any more help, please ask!

It's just in my download folder and a shortcut on my desktop. When I open the DOS prompt I have c:\windows> I'm not sure how to find the right directory to type FAH2Console.exe -config in if I do it at the c windows prompt it's not correct??

1st I typed cd\ enter

Then cd C:\mydownl~1
and it said invalid directory

So then I tried cd C:\mydownl~1
FAH2Console.exe -config

and it said to many parimaters -FAH2Console.exe

Sorry I really haven't a clue with DOS

Thanks

In Windows:

My Computer>my download files>client.cfg
It opens in notepad and you can edit it there.

Also look for FAHlog.txt and it will show what has been done since last boot.

To start FAH, I made a desktop shortcut for FAH2Console.exe
