Optimizer won't start

I decided to give the tcp Optimizer a try - downloaded it just now, but it won't start. I get a delay while it is starting, then I am back on the desktop. Monitor shows as running but NOT RESPONDING, so I have to kill it.

I tried downloading it 3 times - same result each time.

Now what?

No I'm on Comcast.NET and it ( Comcast ) appears to be working at the moment.

Now I would like to tune it up a bit, but the optimizer just sits there.

Are you using Win98? If you are, there appears to have been a problem in the last update. Philip is trying to trouble shoot it now.

If you don't use Win98, let us know what your OS is. Sorry for the inconvenience. The product is still in beta but Philip is working on getting the bugs out...

I starting having the same problem also. I have it saved in my hard drive and I always access it to play with different settings. Now its not responding.

I am considering updateing to Win2K - we use it here at work and it is stable.

Win XP will NOT be getting at any of my systems any time soon ( I think the phrase is - till H... freezes over ). That authorization nonesense is just too much - I refuse to have a Mickey-soft time bomp on my desk.
