Quoted from the [H]ardOCP Folding forum:
I was using the 215 version of the client.
This could not get out past my company firewall, it could see the assignment servers but not get the work. I think this was because only port 80 was allowed by my company through the proxy.
I got around it by using sockscap and tunneling proxy software.
However, I just retried version 219 and said for it to use my Internet explorer settings .. et voila ! IT WENT AND GOT WORK STRAIGHT OFF.
Can someone also who has had this problem before test it and confirm my findings ?
From the replies, there has been mixed results, but mixed it better than NONE.
Sockscap is a very cool piece of software, you don't need it though (Just use IE settings, Fixed in Beta)
It asks you:
Do you have a Proxy [No] : YES
Do you want to use IE settings [Yes] : YES.
For the beta (2.19):

Also, 10% SPEED INCREASE!
