View Full Version : Windows Media Player (XP)
When I first play a movie off an FTP site for example the it's kinda of slow until the download is done.. then when I replay the movie it play the whole thing ok is there a way to make the first play time faster while windows media player is getting the movie ?
-If I close media player where can I find that move I watched in my computer again?

of course it's slow....your streaming the data as you get it. Once the DL is complete, it will play fine, as it has all the data on your HDD
If you close Media Player, its in the directory of where ever you saved it as....or if you can't save it, then it's lost for ever...but usually it might be in your temp folder or something...

I was over a friend's house today and I was watching movies off the same FTP server using windows media player XP great not slow at all
He doesn’t have Comcast as ISP though and he use 3COM cable modem
