The NIC buffer tweak is here http://www.speedguide.net/Cable_modems/cable_irq.shtml alot of people call AFD (ancillary function driver) buffers NIC buffers, technically they aren't. Definition: AFD.sys is the Ancillary Function Driver (other names have been proposed...) which, basically, acts as an entry point for Winsock functions to get to TCPIP.sys. These settings are the following in Cablenut:
InitialLargeBufferCount = 100
InitialMediumBufferCount = 300
InitialSmallBufferCount = 500
LargeBufferSize = 40960
MediumBufferSize = 15040
SmallBufferSize = 640
These are the ones that work best for me, for more information on these look here: http://www.siesystems.com/windows_sockets_and_dns_registry.htm :) :D :)
