problems with loading time with xp

Hi when xp first loads up I click on the start button then I go to connect to. It locks up and i have to wait for 30 secs then the modem lights start to blick on my dsl modem. Then it unlocks and i can go to connect to after that. Not a real big problem but real annoying help :( Also if i shut the modem off it dont happen.

Try Bootvis here (http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/tune-19.html) under trace click on optimize or call ISP?:)

Is your modem hooked up via USB? If so try using a NIC.:)

No its a speed stream modem that uses a nic card

No, any driver, you may have program installed not meant for XP even if it works:)
