annoying flicker

anyone had problems with a specifc pages flickering on a specific machine?
I have windows ME, IE6, and when I try to view a specific web page the whole screen flickers. I've loaded the latest video drivers, windows updates, and it still is flickering.

any ideas????

What webpage is flickering? Post the link and I'll see if it flickers here too. Some pages may be written to flicker.

Also you may want to check that you aren't sharing your Vid card IRQ with your Nic's IRQ too.

Hoss, some more info may be helpful. Laptop or desktop? Is it just the IE window flickering or is the whole display?

I'm using a Dell lat C800 laptop that's docked, but without a monitor, just the LCD of the laptop. it's the whole screen that flickers, not just the IE window. It won't let me alt Tab to other applications. I tired going straight to that link, and also drilling down to it, but same results.

That sites solid on my rig.

You may want to go to your Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, choose to remove IE6 and you get a menu that asks if you want to do a repair. Try that

Check your IRQ's and make sure you aren't sharing the nic with the vid card, or sound.

Only time I get a flicker is if I'm running Sonique and listening to MP3's. Outside of that, it solid.
