Yeah I noticed that yesterday after completing a Win2K network, then going out to install the windowsupdates.
It's about time, how many were there individually before that? Like 10 or 12? Finally, now in one neat shot.
Also, anyone else notice the the windowsupdate site is paiiiiiiiinnnnfully slow the past two weeks or so? It depends on which updates you get, as to which servers you are pulling them from...but a good 50% of them are brutally slow lately. (kinda like this server gets now and then***cough cough***"Server too busy")
Thanks for posting Murman, I'll be getting that shortly.
Have a good day. :)
I thanked the right guy, right? :D j/k
You know what I mean.

ya .. 8 for Core OS and a bunch of other due dads
I have noticed the windows update site has been deadly! slow .. took me three times lastnight to update a few things, it was driving me nuts...
MS did have new Nvidia drivers, 23.12. I installed them and the seem very good. I got a 400 point boost in 3DMark 2001 and my games seem much much smoother. I have been getting that infinite loop prob and so far (crossing fingers) it hasn't happened since the update.

i installed this security rollup package, then i let the MS personal security advisor rescan my system, and it showed i had to install 4 hotfixes, ones i already had installed before the security rollup pack installation.
So users might want to recheck they systems to see if any hotfixes need reinstalling.
Since I installed the rollup update, my network connections have been horrendously slow to initialize for some reason. I'd be connected right after the desktop loaded before, now it can take up to a minute. My luck it's probably something else altogether.
