2k first, then linux... if you do linux first, then 2k will overwrite the MBR and LiLo.

Hmmm, I tried that before and it didnt work right. Linux over-wrote 2k.

either way will work, as long as you remember to install Lilo in the first part of the partition, not in the MBR (Master Boot Record) since Win2k uses it, as Qwijib0 said

Aren't you using different partitions for Linux, what do you mean it overwrote 2k ???
