another CS question

DAMN! This sucks, I've only been able to play 2 games of CS total in 3 days, cuz everytime I connect to one I pick my team, and my uniform, and then I stay in spectator mode for about 15 seconds and then it disconnects i think and goes to the console screen! If u didn't see my last post about CS, I just got Half Life and CS and stuff, and so far nothing's going well... Anyone know why I'm getting disconnected?

Is the server running PB or detecting any cheats?
In your config is the console set to "1" or "0"?

Cable connection, not sure about the console thing (i'll check), i've got an ATI Rage 128 Gayteway comp... and i've got the latest version of CS 1.3

The server probably was running PB or TSL or some other cheat detection... So either you were cheating or didnt have the anti-cheat.

Now it could also have been a script to boot spectators or people not playing... Or maybe you are just not liked. j/k ;)

I believe its a message. That you should quit CS and pick up Quake3 or RTCW :D

I asked on the [H]ard forum and they told me I need an ATI patch because the old ATI boards have a buffer overflow about 30 seconds in.... Thanks anyway! BTW, I do play RTCW...

My laptop has a Rage Pro 8MB... Did not need no patch. Must be for desktop oldies.
