UT Disc

my buddy is having troubles running UT off of his hard drive. He can run the game with a CD , but can't from his hard drive. I have never had this particular issue myself. Anyone know a way to run it off your hard drive?

hmm thtas strange because i have ut on my machine and to be honest after the last update 436 i lost it but i still can play........wait my mind is crumped i actully had to download a proggie after i lost the cd to play without it.

do you know where you got that program? I'm starting to wonder if the problem my friend is having is because its the version of UT that came with the disck which was 400. He hasnt updated it with any patches.

any ideas anyone on whether having the updated patch will fix this issue or will he need this program liquid talks about?

I'm pretty sure if you get the patch and upgrade tov 436 you don't need the CD
