I'll try this again. Damn server busy message blew off my post.

In W2K, there was a definite increase. XP is pretty fast out the gate but you can still see an improvement. In order to get most out of it you need to move your IE temp folders to the ram drive. Watch your d/ling tho anything bigger than the ramdrive needs to be saved someplace else.

Give it a try to the point of creating and adding to your start up group you can always blow it out if you don't like it. Read all the threads tho and take it a step at a time.
