I am new to registry modifications but have gone through allot of information regarding the how tos. From what I have seen the first step is to back up the current registry settings/configuation to a 1.4mb floppy. Well needless to say when I attempt to make a copy of the registry I get the Windows error "a:\rega.reg: Error writing the file. There may be a disk or file error."
I am trying to export to a newly fomatted 3.5 floppy running Export Registry File from Registory File Editor in Windows 98SE. Anyone have any recommendations how to resolve the error?
The second question is if I create a system problem modifying the registry (almost certain) how do I reload the saved version of the registry?
Thanks
Fred
