Now that I'm on Cox's network (my ip changed) I'm having problems resolving addresses. I can't even get a tracert to complete. I set up a DNS server on my home lan, and the forwarders are still set to @home's DNS servers.
How do I figure this out, or can someone tell me the IP address?

If you are using Win 98, or ME you can hit Start, Run, winipcfg, choose your network card that connects to the internet, then choose More info......
This will open a bigger box that will tell you your DNS servers and other info you may need.
For Win NT, 2K, XP, Start, Run, cmd [Enter] ipconfig /all The info printed on the screen will be the info that you need.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, I'm behind a firewall. I forgot about telnetting into my Netgear and getting the info. I was just trying to keep from changing cables around and bypassing my router, lazy tonight I guess :D.
If anyone needs the IP's they are,
68.11.16.30
68.1.208.16
Default Gateway,
68.0.56.1
My complete Domain Name is no.cox.net and I use the east.cox.net mail server.
If anyone should need this info :)

Just because that is your default gateway with Cox doesn't mean that it will be the same for everyone - I might be wrong if they only have 254 customers though.
That Gateway is for your IP range....not for each range that Cox has.
