Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Hi

Let me be the first to admitt I'm not much of a 'gamer' (yet)...have
become very frustrated with Wolfenstein...mainly because, unlike
"Max Payne" I can not figure out how to 'F5 & save the game at verious accomplishments like you can in Max Payne...

What did I over look?

How can I "Save" different advancements in Wolfenstein...with out having to go all the way back again each time??

You mean as in a Function key autosave? I'm not sure, I just press escape and then save it like that.

Bob,
You can instantly save in RTCW with F5. Unless you have remapped that to a different function.

thanks for the reply. Yes, by hitting F5 it does flash on the screen,
"Game Saved"....but it really isn't; at least not from that very point...like it does with "Max Payne"...(great game, if you like shoot'm up)..

Is that the way F5 in RTCW is suppose to work?

Seems to take you back to the beginning of each chapter...& that sucks...especially if you're like me & sometimes take 30,60 minutes(or more) to get a substantial distance past that last saved point....only to be killed & have to start all over again....

Is this as good as it gets?

Hit F5 to save. When you die, and "respawn", hit F9 and you will go to the spot you hit F5. Make sence???

Thanks a Million...you just solved a major frustration for me on RTCW...I was F5'n but not the F9....what a difference one more key makes...
