Setting up two PC for one cable modem

I was going to set up two PCs to use one cable modem. I'm in the Twin Cities using AT&T Broadband. I was wondering if someone could suggest a good way to go about setting this up. The PC will be facing each other. I have 2 network cards. But what else would I need? Thank you.

I agree. a router is the easiest way to go.
