Hello all, Whenever I e-mail to some one on my hotmail account using IE6 version, after I send it off to cyperspace, if I try to go to another program or say even SG, my computer freezes up and it tells me to end task, well the task never ends and I END UP shuting down the computer, and of course it was not shut down properly and I get the scan disc, I have a yahoo account and a outlook account and this does not happen on these programs..Any suggestions?..
I have win98 2 edition
IE 6.0
320 mb ram

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try running the IE 6 repair tool and see if it still does it.
add/remove programs/ IE6 and internet tools/ click the repair button.

Hey, no problem. IE6 is flakey and sometimes you have to repair it more then once.
Learn all you can and then help others that are newbies. It has it's rewards even if it's nothing better then making you feel good about what you've accomplished. ;)

I've been having a lot of problems with IE6 myself.
I am running XP Pro, and when I go into add remove programs there isn't an interet explorer 6 link, so I cant fix any problems with it.
When I had 2K Pro, there was, so I know what it is, but it's not there. Any suggestions?

I haven't had any experience with XP, but if you have a way to get to system information, I think there is still a tool tab. click the tool tab and first thing showing should be Internet Explorer Repair tool.
I really need to see XP, but by the time I get ahold of it, Windows Celestial will be the big thing. If anyone else (Ken) knows the answer in XP, please educate me! :(
Guys, it seems that I remember seeing somewhere that MS doesn't recommend IE6 with 98...
I use 98SE and IE5.01 SP2 as a team and never have problems...(a few of the old timers,Juggernaut, Norm, TonyT, et al, say the same thing...) ;)
Blebs, I will put XP Pro on the monster box that I will start building in hopefully about a month, when I catch up from the holidays...
