havent messed with Exchange a whole lot........
i just converted my company's network over to run behind a gateway router.........i just need to know all the ports i need to forward to the server, aside from 110 and 25 to make exchange work.

what is happening is that clients cant access their mailboxes over the net.

im guessing its IMAP i need to get forwarded.
and are there any other ports i need to forward to make web mail access work?

this is on Small Buisness Server on NT4.0

thanks in advance :)

I just service pack the Exchange server, and run Outlook Web Access...only uses port 80. Quicker than hitting it RAS/VPN and synchronizing those pain in the arse offline folders. Other options, in our old office, we used to just VPN to the network, and run Outlook that way from home.....no offline folders, just tied into the network via VPN...so set it up standard.

But Outlook Web Access works great, can hit it from anywhere in the world easily through your web browser. We have a static IP account for the DSL. I registered an easy to remember DNS name to that IP, so on any browser, just enter www.<enteryourpickedname>.com/exchange.....and you get the domain login, bam, you're in. Only problem I've had so far is hitting a new SBS2000 from a WinXP client...it's brutally slow.
