I'm having issues with my BP Ftp Server and my linksys router it think, but im not sure. People are getting into my server , but are unable to see any of my folders. I checked all of my settings and have read access on all accounts, plus write and even append. Prior to me setting up my new router all of my settings were the same and people could download and upload which makes me think its a router issue, yet they can get in so why cant they do anything? That makes me think its a settings issue, but the settings like i mentioned before are the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

Right click on the folders to share, and make sure you have sharing on.

Do you have the ports open for passive mode? Are your clients using port mode? They will have to use port mode unless you have the specific ports open for passive mode and then u run into security. You could also but the server in dmz. There again though you run into security issues (software firewall, blah blah blah)

Hi there Roody,

There is a forum at another site unfortunately that deals specifically with Linksys routers. Since you said it seems to be a router issue maybe if you check out this link you will find your answer. Good luck :)

thanks again Hoov for the help. I was able to fix it by heading over to my FTP's website.
