Hello folks I have cable internet access through RR and use a NetGear 5 port Fast Ethernet Switch since I have multiple IP's. On the WIN95 Machine I installed NetBeui and am using the workgroup name "LAN". On the WinXP machine I installed Netbeui and made sure that TCP/IP was unbound from both client from microsoft networks and file and printer sharing for microsoft networks. Also, using "LAN" for the workgroup name. When browsing the network both computer can see the workgroup "LAN" but they CAN'T see each other. Any help would be greatly apprec.
Thanks
I believe you also need to share a folder on each PC....

Yeah I have the whole C: drive shared on both computers. I'm really stumped.
you should only share the folders/drives
you absolutely need to share.
bit of a security risk there.....

router has internal firewall, his risk is minimal
perhaps I missed something, but there is mention
of a NetGear 5 port Fast Ethernet Switch , but I
don't see anything about a router in the first post
