Can any one point me in the right direction?
I have packet loss even if I ping my own IP
address: Ping -f -l 1500 ( my ip-address ).

I have changed my NIC and still get the same thing.
This just started a few months ago, and I haven't
installed any thing that would have effected this, I don't
think.

Thanks

Rick

You can't use 1500. The maximum you can use in that ping command is 1472, and it could be even less depending upon configuration. I recommend just using an ordinary ping to see what loss you get.

How did you come to the conclusion that you have packet loss?
You may just be experiencing collisions or have faulty cables/connectors.
