Hello,
I am a cable operator and providing Internet Services in the city of Bangalore, India. The ISP who are providing the services to me have capped the down and up loads to the cable modem. Now we find that the speeds are only a little better than that of dialup modems. Can u let me know if there are any standards laid out regarding the capping policies applied to cable modems for commercial and residential usage?
Thanks

hi,
you may have a laugh at this. For a residential connection the upload is limited to 16Kbps and download is anywhere between 0 to 64 Kbps, no guarantees.
