I use the program Direct connect alot (file sharing program), was wondering if there is any special settings in particular that you can change to maximize the speed at which you download and upload files there.

Just find a guy who has a T3 there and download like crazy. That's about the only way you can improve your speeds.

Yeah its all about you can do. Just look for people with only 1 or 2 slots being used and make shure they have a <700 ping

How can he limit his OWN speed (download-upload), if it is not....i want to know that...is there any program to limit upload speed?, i can not stay there...when upload my dl goes down from 32k to 2..........maybe by port, or IP...
