I have port 8080 forwarded to my servers IP and have a DNS2Go site that handles my DHCP leased from ISP. When I hit the site from outside the LAN it times out, from inside the LAN it comes up with router login screen. Even when I maually type the IP/port into browser it stil times out. So I can only conclude that when it hits my router, my router drops that request. Web server runs fine inside the LAN. This port forward thing with netgear is killing me.
I've read that you need to shut off web access to router management. Is it true that this option has to be shut off in order for Http traffic to be allowed through router.

I would really appreciate any info.

Why oh why doesn't this work...................
have 21.3 in setup to forward and SUA setup to forward all port 80 to servers static IP and it still won't work.

I'd try it without the router.

It's pretty likely that your provider has blocked port 80 inbound.

Thank you for the response

I've tried using other ports with no avail. This is killing me. I should be able to do this straight forward.

Thanks again.

BTW, I can't wait to come back up that way and visit the brewery district downtown. I have relatives in Westerville and I love it up there.

Thanks again
