i have been having this wierd problem when i browse the net my puter freezes,not on all sites,always on viatech.com and windows media player site and a few others.
i just downloaded IE 5.5 SP2 and when i get into winblows i get explorer.exe has caused errors and it shuts down.
this problem occured a week or two ago so i reinstalled 2K and i have put all settings back to their default levels in the bios.i have all the drivers up to date as well as all winblows updates including SP2,and the bios is the newest version as well
like when im going to via or somewhere else the page starts to load and then stops,i can still move the mouse around and if i happen to be listening to music it continues to play,if i click on the mouse a few times the mouse will then freeze,but the music still keeps going.i can ctrl-alt-del either.
how can i fix the explorer error first so i can get back into winblows
