You think DSL will have a higher upload than ATTBI?

Broadband offers different speeds depending on your local telephone company.

You can see that two phone companies will cut you download by half and keep your upload the same as ATTBI.

Maybe you best think twice about changing to DSL!!!

SBC partnered ISPs are 1.5mbs/128kbps (160kbps on a Pronto RT). The only SBC partner with a 768kbps downstream is Ameritech.

Qwest and Verizon are just stingy on the speeds. In fact, in New Jersey, Verizon, the local monopoly, er ILEC has not recieved approval from the PUC to upgrade the old Bell Atlantic circuits, 640kbps/90kbps to 768kbps/128kbps from the GTE merger.
